Yale Richmond, the author of the brilliant book «From Nyet to Da. Understanding the Russians», opens his book with the words of Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich: «I have never met anyone who understood Russians». Further on the author quotes Winston Churchill, who in 1939 described Russia as «a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma».
